Faculty Coaching Package

Participant Requirements

You must be a faculty member working full-time or part-time at a college or university.

You are committed to engaging in your own self-work; in particular, you’re interested in exploring the intersections of the personal and professional. While the focus of this coaching may be centered around your work as a faculty member, you understand that our coaching together may also explore how that work spreads out and intersects with other parts of your identity.

You will commit to meeting with your coach at minimum once a month, but preferably twice a month for optimal learning and accountability.

You must be willing to also have fun and be bold! We are going to do great work together this fall.

Learn More About This Package

  • You’ll be coached by Dr. Dan Tillapaugh, associate professor and chair of counselor education at California Lutheran University and leadership/heartwork coach with Coeurwork Coaching. We’ll start with a 90-minute discovery session to do a deep dive and situate our work together and then you’ll have 10 60-minute coaching sessions available to you to use for the next few months. It is a program requirement that we must meet at least once a month, at a minimum, to keep momentum and your best learnings.

Our work together will center what you need as a faculty member working in higher education. Every faculty member’s situation and circumstances are different. Dan understands this and brings his knowledge of faculty life to his work as your coach. Nothing’s off the table here. Teaching, scholarship, service, working on time management, setting boundaries, navigating tenure, working through departmental politics…and more! Whatever you need to discuss, you have the chance to identify what your agenda is with Dan and craft intentions and a plan to meet your intended outcomes for this coaching work.
